Delete your Pineapple Poker account
You can request permanent deletion from the app or contact us if you no longer have access to it.
Delete your account in the app
This is the fastest and most secure option.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Select Delete my account.
- Review the consequences and confirm. If Apple asks you to sign in again, complete that step first.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from an address you can access. Include your Pineapple username, sign-in provider, and the address linked to the account if you know them. If Apple assigned you a private relay address, include it if possible; you do not need to send the request from that address. We may ask for additional information before accepting the request. If support cannot safely verify ownership by email, you will need to sign in again and use the in-app deletion flow. If you use a guest account and still have access to the app, use the in-app steps above; without that anonymous session, support may be unable to verify ownership.
Never send a password, sign-in token, recovery code, full purchase receipt, or payment information.

What happens next
After an in-app request is accepted, the app signs you out and Pineapple immediately attempts to end current matches and disable further access. If either operation fails, the daily worker retries it. For an email request, these actions start after support verifies and accepts the request. Private live account data is normally removed within 24 hours after acceptance. Deletion is irreversible.
Data removed
- Pineapple sign-in account and private profile
- Custom avatar, achievements, notifications, presence, and private drafts
- Purchase-service customer attributes associated with your Pineapple account
Data retained
- Shared gameplay history, scores, usernames, and messages needed to preserve other players' histories
- Purchase and accounting records retained by Pineapple or its providers where required for accounting and platform operations
- Analytics, crash diagnostic, and advertising records governed by the retention and deletion rules of the services that process them
- A minimal deletion record used to prevent the account from being restored
Backups
Existing backups are not rewritten immediately. Deleted private data disappears as those backups expire under Pineapple's documented retention schedules. Accepted deletion requests must remain protected before access is reopened after a restore.
